1. Education, not advice

Everything on MutualFund.ca — articles, tools, the Mutual Fund Genie, portfolio analytics — is general financial education. It is not investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, and no advisor-client relationship is created by using the site. Markets involve risk; decisions are yours.

2. Accounts

Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (scraping, attempting to bypass rate limits, harassment, unlawful use).

3. Genie+ memberships

Billed via Stripe monthly or annually; cancel anytime through the billing portal and access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice; usage limits exist to keep the service available to everyone.

4. The Genie

The Genie is an AI system. It can be wrong, outdated or incomplete. Verify anything important against official documents (Fund Facts, prospectus) or a licensed professional before acting.

5. Content & IP

Site content is ours (or licensed) — personal, non-commercial use is welcome; republication requires permission. News headlines link to and credit their original sources.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, MutualFund.ca is not liable for investment outcomes or indirect damages arising from use of the site. Some provinces don't allow certain limitations, so portions may not apply to you.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable Canadian federal law.
