Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between MER and management fee?
The management fee is one ingredient; the MER is the whole recipe โ management fee plus operating costs plus taxes (plus, in Series A, the trailing commission). Why does my ACB matter?
In taxable accounts it determines your capital gain when you sell. Reinvested distributions raise it; return of capital lowers it โ track both or you'll overpay tax.
